Training & Development

Synergy has created a common platform for its employees to build the capabilities of people who work at sea or in office through different mediums like face to face meetings, campaigns, computer based module, sharing information & knowledge electronically.

It has designed a variety of training programme to develop and involve the employee in the growth of the organization and to realize its tangible benefits. One such training programme is "QHSE Excellence Campaign"

This programmme is initiated to reach Zero injuries; Zero damages; Zero pollutions in shipboard operations. It establishes a safe foundation by developing procedures; training staff; improving incident reporting and analysis; and managing risk & changes effectively.

The next step is to compare our performance indicators with the industry standard; instill QHSE Performance accountability; and reach the next level "QHSE is a priority".

"QHSE Excellence Campaign" is a long term campaign with focus on behavioural changes. The intended changes shall be achieved by having "Monthly QHSE excellence programme", that started from December 2009 which focused on selected operations/systems with two main objectives :

  • I) Reinstate Basics
  • II) Promote Best Practices
